Conference Location: All
sessions will be held at the Cool Spring Marriott Conference
Center except for the Public Address by Dr.
Freeman on the night
of November 2 nd . That public address will be held on the campus
of Vanderbilt
University Medical Center , Nashville TN (208 Light
Hall). Transportation will be made available to bring registrants
from the Marriott to Light Hall for Dr. Freeman's talk, and return.
Accommodations: A block of hotel rooms has been reserved
at the Cool
Springs Marriott. Registrants are responsible for
making their own hotel reservations.
The deadline for obtaining
the conference room group rate has been extended to: October 15 th , 2005. The
group rate is $115 (double or single) per night plus State and
local taxes. Cancellations must be made more than 72 hours prior
to arrival. After this time, attendees will be charged for the
first night of the reservation or forfeit their individual room
deposits. The free toll number for reservations is 888-403-6772.

Springs Marriott reservation page that already has the appropriate conference
code entered at the bottom right. Just add the correct arrival
and departure dates to begin the reservation process.

Abstract and Young Investigator
Award Deadline: The
deadline for abstracts and for receipt of Young Investigator
Award Applications is October 7 th , 2005.
CME Credit: CME credit will be available for this
meeting.
Travel Information: Franklin, TN is approximately
15 miles due south of Nashville and the campuses of Vanderbilt
University and Meharry Medical College . The local airport is
Nashville International Airport (BNA).
Weather: The average daytime temperature in early
November ranges from 50-60 degrees.
Historic Franklin , TN : Franklin , Tennessee was the
site of The Battle of Franklin during the Civil War. Its historic
downtown area retains much of the architectural character of
the late 1800's. Interested in preservation as well as in progress,
Franklin has maintained several historic buildings and properties
from that period, including Carnton Plantation and The Carter
House. Today Franklin also serves as home to a number of country
music legends, as well as to several high tech business corporations.
