Students from the Meharry-Vanderbilt Student Alliance raised $1,190 in their annual Whose Central Line Is It Anyway variety show, which became a virtual event this year. Proceeds from the event will benefit the student-run Salt Wagon and Shade Tree Clinics.
In years past, the event brought students from Meharry Medical College (MMC) and Vanderbilt University (VU) together for game show-esque competitions like Hula Hoop Trivia and Pen in the Bottle. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, however, it became a virtual affair, bringing students together digitally via Zoom.
As a result, every audience member became a participant, and according to organizers, allowed for more fun.
