NASHVILLE, Tenn.  Vanderbilt is holding a one-day event called “Supporting Team Science at Vanderbilt” on Friday, Sept. 25. Its purpose is to bring together folks across the research enterprise to identify and address the ways that we can administratively promote and support interdisciplinary team science.

Meharry-Vanderbilt Alliance intern Ryan Berr's submission “Assessing the impact of Health Literacy, Numeracy and Race on Willingness to Participate in Biomedical Research” was recently accepted for an oral presentation at the 2015 Health Literacy Research Conference by the HARC abstract review committee.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. Ivy Zalaya, a student at Meharry Medical College, was recently announced as one of the 2015 Doris Duke Charitable Foundation Clinical Research Mentorship grant recipients. She is the first Meharry student to receive the grant.
