'Healthy Community' events planned in May

NASHVILLE, Tenn. The Tennessee Department of Health -- in partnership with the Tennessee Public Health Association, the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development and Healthier Tennessee -- will hold one of three afternoon events across the state focusing on collaboration for economically prosperous, livable and healthy communities.  Each event showcases successful multi-sector partnerships that are moving Tennessee forward.

The events -- scheduled for May 6 in Nashville, May 20 in Knoxville and May 26 in Memphis from 12:30 - 3:30 p.m. -- will provide networking opportunities in addition to learning opportunities. 

There is no registration fee, and online registration is open now at www.tnpublichealth.org.
