Faculty Affiliate Program

Faculty Affiliate Program

The Meharry-Vanderbilt Alliance (MVA) Faculty Affiliate Program (FAP) is a two-year, renewable membership open to all Meharry Medical College, Vanderbilt University, Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and U-54 grant /Meharry-Vanderbilt-Tennessee State Cancer Partnership faculty members, including tenured/tenure-track faculty and non-tenured faculty. FAP applications are received on a rolling basis, and information sessions are held twice a year, typically April and October, to orient new program members.

The mission of the MVA Faculty Affiliate Program is to provide resources for advancing faculty member productivity, career development, and networking opportunities to empower member research. Membership in the affiliate program leverages the diverse interdisciplinary backgrounds of all institutions and faculty whose scholarly or professional activities enrich and complement each institution's programs. The MVA Faculty Affiliate Program offers a centralized place to connect faculty members to the information and tools that facilitate collaborative research and engagement in leadership activities.
