Masculinity and Men's Health Policy: Conceptual and Measurement Challenges seminar Nov. 11

NASHVILLE, Tenn. Vanderbilt University will host "Masculinity and Men's Health Policy: Conceptual and Measurement Challenges" on Nov. 11 from noon until 1 p.m. in Room 512 at Light Hall, with featured speaker Dr. Derek M. Griffith, PhD.

Dr. Griffith is a leading social scientist focused on social influences on men's health and racial and ethnic health disparities. His research focuses on identifying and addressing psychological, cultural and environmental determinants of African American men's health and well-being. His seminar will broadly discuss the conceptual and measurement challenges of masculinity and men's health policy and the approach he used in leading the 2014 Tennessee Men's Health Report Card.

Light refreshments will be provided, and CME credit is available for the Health Policy Seminar.
