'Using Evaluation to Strengthen Your Program' workshop scheduled Oct. 7

NASHVILLE, Tenn. The Center for Nonprofit Management (CNM) will host a workshop titled "Using Evaluation to Strengthen Your Program" on Oct. 7 from 8:30 a.m. until noon.

The workshop focuses on the nuts and bolts of implementing an evaluation. It will start by reviewing logic models and address how logic models support the development of evaluation plans and measures. The process of using evaluation findings in decision-making and to manage programs, as well as identifying stakeholders, will be discussed. The use of findings to improve programs will be a core theme woven throughout.

At the conclusion of this session, participants should be able to:

  • understand the relationship between a logic model and an evaluation plan
  • develop an understanding of utilization-focused evaluation
  • know the importance of clarifying the stakeholders in an evaluation
