Meharry-Vanderbilt Alliance, Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center to hold joint seminar

NASHVILLE, Tenn. The Meharry-Vanderbilt Alliance and the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center will hold a joint seminar titled "Address Social Determinants of Cancer Health Disparities Using a Community-Based Participatory Approach" on Thursday, Feb. 25, at noon. Chanita Hughes-Halbert, PhD will be the featured speaker.

Hughes-Halbert is Associate Dean for Assessment and Evaluation for the College of Medicine, a Professor for the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and Endowed Chair for Cancer Equity at the Hollings Cancer Center at the Medical University of South Carolina.
