MVA team volunteers at Nashville Rescue Mission

NASHVILLE, Tenn. The Meharry-Vanderbilt Alliance team and community members joined volunteers at the Nashville Rescue Mission Monday, Dec. 14, to serve lunch for the city's homeless and low income residents. Additionally, the MVA collected and donated needed items -- including tissue paper, shampoo and other necessities -- to Crestview Health and Rehabilitation Center.

The projects were part of an effort by the MVA to give back to the community during the holiday season.
