MVA team volunteers at Hope Center

NASHVILLE, Tenn. As part of a continuing effort to serve the surrounding community, members of the Meharry-Vanderbilt Alliance celebrated Martin Luther King, Jr. Day by volunteering at the Hope Center in Nashville. The team members served lunch to women and children in need at the center and assisted with cleanup afterward.

About the Meharry-Vanderbilt Alliance

Founded in 1999, the Alliance bridges the institutions of Meharry Medical College and Vanderbilt University. Its mission is to enrich learning and advance clinical research by developing and supporting mutually beneficial partnerships between Meharry Medical College, Vanderbilt University and the communities they serve.
