MVA intern's submission accepted for 2015 Health Literacy Research Conference

NASHVILLE, Tenn. Meharry-Vanderbilt Alliance intern Ryan Berr's submission “Assessing the impact of Health Literacy, Numeracy and Race on Willingness to Participate in Biomedical Research” was recently accepted for an oral presentation at the 2015 Health Literacy Research Conference by the HARC abstract review committee.

Ber, who interned with the MVA during the summer, is a student at Meharry Medical College and expects to graduate in 2018 with his MD. He intends to become a primary care physician. The aspiring doctor is originally from Toronto, Canada.
