Supporting Team Science at Vanderbilt scheduled Sept. 25

NASHVILLE, Tenn.  Vanderbilt is holding a one-day event called “Supporting Team Science at Vanderbilt” on Friday, Sept. 25. Its purpose is to bring together folks across the research enterprise to identify and address the ways that we can administratively promote and support interdisciplinary team science.

Professors Gordon Bernard, Jim Crowe, Consuelo Wilkins, Craig Lindsley, Paul Harris, Beth Malow, among others will be speaking about the challenges and opportunities of team science at Vanderbilt and presenting best practices we can adopt to help our faculty members.  We’re also bringing in Holly Falk-Krzesinski from Elsevier to give two presentations.

In the afternoon, there will be a series of 20-minute talks on four tracks: grants management, clinical research trials, lab/compliance and a generalist track.
